Pre-order the Canon EOS 1000D from just £399.99

Due for release this month is Canon's new entry level digital SLR the EOS 1000D. Canon have a reputation for bargain entry level DSLR's and the 1000D is no exception. It features a 10.1MP sensor, 2.5" LCD with Live View, DIGIC III processor (as used in professional EOS models), 7-point wide area auto focus and a self cleaning image sensor.

It's available to pre-order as body only for £399.99 from Amazon and Play.com and with the EF-S 18-55mm IS lens (which features image stabilisation) for just £449.99 from both Amazon and Play.com.
